A New Incinerator Control Meter is Needed

ثبت نشده
چکیده

The performance of an incinerator is affected markedly by the moisture content of the refuse. To maintain a satisfactory £ire and a high rate of operation under con ditions of varying refuse moisture is difficult at best: As the flue gas reflects the refuse analysis, a meter is proposed that would report the ratio of CO, and H,O vapor in the furnace exit gas. The CO2/H20 ratio varies from 2.0 for refuse of 10 per cent moisture to 1.3 for ref use of 30 per cent moisture. A gravimetric apparatus is described for test purposes, hut a monitor for use by the incinerator operator is needed. . The effects on the meter readings of firing rale, anal ysis of refuse, excess air, air humidity and vapor from ash quenching ar evaluated.

اندازه گیری بعضی آلاینده های هوای خروجی از زباله سوزهای بیمارستانی در شهر همدان در سال 1380

Background and purpose: Hospital wastes pose a serious public health problem. This is primarily caused by the way individual components of the waste is handled. One acceptable method for managing the medical waste is incineration but uncontrolled incinerators can cause emission of pollutants to atmosphere. The objective of this study was to evaluate pollutants emission from hospital waste ...

Establishing the propensity for dioxin formation using a plume temperature model for medical waste incinerator emissions in developing countries.

Air pollution control devices (APCDs) are not compulsory for medical waste incinerators (MWIs) in developing countries. In South Africa, combustion gases are usually vented directly to the atmosphere at temperatures greater than the formation temperature of dioxin. The possibility of dioxin formation outside the incinerator stack has been hypothesized. A plume model has been developed and teste...

Analysis of Medical Waste Incinerator Performance Based on Fuel Consumption and Cycle Times

A detailed assessment of an incinerator based on fuel consumption and cycle time data is presented in this paper. The study was conducted at Temeke district hospital for 22 months consecutively covering 654 days of daily data collection on waste loading rate fuel consumption and cycle times. The composition for the medical waste incinerated varied between 15% and 35% for sharps waste and betwee...

Pic Microcontroller-Based Automatic Meter Reading (AMR) System Using the Low Voltage (LV) Power Line Network (TECHNICAL NOTE)

Automatic Meter Reading (AMR) is the remote collection of consumption data from customer’s utility meters over telecommunications, radio, power line and other links. AMR provides water, electric and gas utility service companies the opportunity to streamline metering, billing and collection activities, increase operational efficiency and improve customer service. The AMR system consists of thre...
